New pics!

So I had my 28 wk appt on Friday. I'm officially in the 3rd trimester, yea! It was a long one, I passed the glucose test, got my rh shot, meet with the nurse and the doc and got an ultrasound! Below I've included a few new pictures of our little guy (they doubled checked, it's definitely a boy). He is now measuring a couple days ahead and his head is measuring about 5 days ahead. Hopefully a large head means he will be smart. :o) He weighs 2 lbs 8 oz now and he flipped around and is now head down. His heartbeat was 155 bpm. Everything looks good but I'm still not feeling much due to the location of the placenta so if I don't start to feel more I'm going to have to start going in every week. Next week I have to go back for a non stress test, just to make sure everything is ok. And my blood pressure is a little bit higher than it has been so they want to keep an eye on that too. So that's the update for now.

Baby Stuff Update

Sorry it has been so long since I posted last. Hope you all had a merry Christmas and a happy new year. We didn't really do anything too exciting for the holidays, just some quality time for the two of us. We did actually get a tree this year, lol. And we even had snow for Christmas. I attempted Christmas cards, even got them addressed, and ran out of time and energy, so i just sent e-cards this year. Oh well.

As for baby updates, I am almost in the third trimester now. I have my 28 wk appt next week and I'll get another ultrasound, yea! We found a great deal on a brand new crib and dresser on ebay so we have those but wouldn't be able to set up the nursery until after the baby shower. But here's a pic of the furniture, we got the low dresser and the crib. The room is pretty small so with those and a chair we should be good. I can't wait to get it all set up. Ok, I will write more after Friday and hopefully will have some new pics.
