Quick update

Just wanted to post a quick update. I had my appt yesterday and they did the ultrasound. He is measuring 6lbs 15 oz right now. I have made a little more progress and am now almost 2 cm dilated and about 60% effaced. We weren't able to get any good pictures because he is so low so I guess we'll have to wait until he gets here. :o) It could be tomorrow, it could be a couple weeks from now.

Any day now...

Hard to believe but our little boy will be here soon. I had my 36 wk check up today. I have been having contractions (and no, not braxton hicks) for a couple weeks now. So I am already 1 cm dilated, 50% effaced and the baby is engaged and at zero station. So he could come any day but I'm guessing it will be at least a couple more weeks. Next week they are going to do another ultrasound just to check on him and his size, etc. My doctor is out of town all next week so hopefully he at least waits until after that! Not much else is new, we're just trying to get everything ready for baby. All the baby stuff has now been put together (swing, stroller, pack and play, highchair, bassinet) and the nursery is almost done. I will let you all know if something happens.
