Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday. This was Liam's first and it was fun. He got to try some turkey (pureed of course) and some little pieces of cooked apple, mashed potatoes and pumpkin. Here are some pictures from our holiday, I will post a more detailed update of that we have been up to soon.

First tooth, first trip to the zoo, and first snow!

We woke up this morning to discover our first snow of the season! It wasn't much but enough for Liam to experience snow for the first time. He wasn't sure what to do with it at first but he doesn't seem to like that it's cold. We've been busy since our last update. Liam is growing fast. He is now 7 mos old and a little over 19 lbs., and 27 inches tall. He has his first tooth! (And I think he's working on another one). He hasn't let me get a picture of it yet though. He isn't crawling but he is scooting around, he can scoot around in a circle and he can go backwards a little bit (although I think he's trying to go forward when he does this lol). He is definitely getting into more things as you can see in a couple of the pictures. So we're busy babyproofing. Everything he can gets his hands on goes in his mouth, his favorite no-no item is paper. It is amazing how fast he can destroy it if he gets his hands on some (and of course tries to eat it). He now demands to have his own spoon when eating and likes to hold his cup by himself (he hasn't quite mastered drinking from a sippy cup yet but when I try to help, I swear if he could talk he would say, "No I do it!"). He goes around saying adadada you can see it on one of the videos, although he is usually louder, of course he won't do it when I have the camera out. It's really funny when I try to get him to say mama he giggles and says adadada. I don't think what any of his "words" mean anything to him but it's still pretty cute. We went for his first trip to the zoo, although the Denver zoo is nowhere near as exciting as the San Diego zoo. We've also been on playdates and trips to the park. Ben has a new job closer to home so hopefully he'll be able to hang out with us more. Fortunately the weather has stayed pretty warm for this time of year, I have no idea how I will keep him busy when we can't go outside! Here are some current pictures and videos.

7 months old
Gotta stay warm to place outside!
See? I like to find new things to chew on. Daddy wasn't too excited I found his usb cord but I look so cute doing it.
This is my monkey face.
And my monkey pose.
This is me trying to crawl.
Now I'm tired.
I must eat with a spoon for each hand, sometimes I let mama borrow one so I actually get some food in my mouth.
Here's some pics from my first trip to the zoo.
Hanging out on the grass. I didn't even eat any.
I also like to play with the blinds, they make fun noises but they're hard to get in my mouth.
Now I'm small but someday I'll be big...although maybe not this big.
Me and mama with the elephants.
The zoo is cool and all but I like to chew on my stroller strap...
And my stroller.
Here's some giraffes we saw.
First snow!

One of my favorite toys!
