Almost...

So Liam is almost 1! Can you believe it? I can't, it makes me sad and excited all at the same time. He almost walking too. He walks around the coffee table and other furniture and sometimes with his walking toy. He's almost talking. Well, actually I guess he is talking, I just don't understand what he's saying. He will sit there and babble and then get so frustrated when I don't understand. He's clapping more. He has waved a couple times but only to himself in the mirror. He's almost stopped getting into everything...just kidding, he's into everything more than ever. He's almost outgrown baby food, he really prefers to feed himself. Liam's new tricks and more pics

Liam is up to all sorts of new tricks. He just a couple of days ago learned how to go up the stairs (see video below) but not down yet. I'm sure he'll master down soon. Last time we were at library class, he decided to see if he could surf on the library cart (maybe our recent trip to the beach inspired him?). He has started bouncing in his high chair when he is supposed to be eating (see other video below). He's cruising all over (I need to get that on video, hopefully for next time) but isn't walking quite yet, at least not without help. He seems to have already learned that the most fun thing to play with is whatever he is not supposed to have and he seems to have a pretty good radar for finding them. He tried a little bit of pizza last night and of course, loved it. He's starting to try and "help" do things, like when mommy is trying to clean. Hmmm....any other news? That eighth tooth hasn't arrived yet but it could be any day now. He has taken to sleeping with his head wedged in a corner of his crib with his butt in the air, it's pretty funny, there's a pic below. He's also learned how to growl and cluck his tongue. And he laughs every time a doggie barks, he loves dogs. That's all I can think of for now. And here are the pictures I promised last time, I think I am finally caught up.
