Happy Birthday Liam!

Happy Birthday Liam! He officially turned one on April 4. Yea! Sorry I'm a little late getting this post up. That week he got a throat infection and then later had a reaction to the antibiotic (he's allergic to penicillin/amoxicillin just like mommy) but thankfully he's all better now. We had a little party for him with some of his little friends (and ours too) with a monkey/jungle theme. He's a spoiled boy now with all his new toys. He also got a toy box to keep them in (well, at least some of them, but he thought it was more fun to get in himself, lol). He's also had his one year check up and he's right where he should be. He's still a big boy but slowing down, he weighed 22 lbs. 9 oz., was 29 inches tall and his head has grown to 18 inches. He's not walking yet but he's so close, he can do it holding on to one of mommy's fingers. He can stand on his own but only for about 10 seconds then he sits down. He's pulling up and climbing on everything. He's talking a lot more although we don't understand most of it. Mama and Dada are more clear and his new favorite word is "dis" (this). I was in the store the other night and I said apple to the cashier and he said apple! The cashier looked at me and said, "Did he just say apple?" and I'm like I think so but of course he hasn't said it since. He had fun for Easter with his first Easter basket and went on a little Easter egg hunt with playgroup. And until the last couple days it was so nice we've gone to the park and taken some pics of him as a one-year-old boy! We did just get a winter storm and over a foot of snow so we've been stuck inside this weekend. It snowed all of Friday and Saturday, but it's supposed to be nice again next week so I'm sure we'll be headed outside! He also waves bye-bye now. Mostly to himself in the mirror but he waved to his friend Ella for the first time just a couple days ago. He also hisses like a cat. So that's all of an update I can think of, here are a bunch of pictures! I can't believe my baby is already one!
