Summer has been a busy time, I apologize again it has been so long since the last blog update. I would love to say I will do better, and I will do my best, but life isn't slowing down anytime soon. In a couple weeks, I will start student teaching, finishing my master's degree in December, so between that and an active two year old, I will not have a lot of free time. Anyway, here are some pictures of some of what we have been up to. One thing that's great about this area is all the things there are to do with kids. Liam is talking a lot more now, he has learned so many words and even a few phrases like "there you go" "be nice" and "shoe out" (because he needs to have his shoes on before he goes outside). We actually have to be a lot more careful now of what we say, there is a good chance he will repeat it. He has started giving great hugs when you ask for them "give mama hug." One of his favorite new things to do is spin or run in circles. He likes to "help" do dishes (he gets to stand on a stool and hold a cup and a brush) or feed the dogs (this one is a little tricky because he will "help" a little more often than the dogs need to be fed). He has learned a couple new numbers: 8 and 9. Why not 1 and 3? Who knows. Still not quite counting yet though. He likes to try and sing although a lot is still not quite understandable. We've gone outside when we can but some days it has just been "too hot." So then we try and go someplace fun in "our vroom." I will try and update soon with pics from our bday trip.
Some days he just wants to bring blankie along for the fun

Climbing in a treehouse at Tyler Arboteum

Enjoying the bathtub in our new place!

Trying to decide if this is fun...

But after all what's summer without a little water fun?

I think he decided he likes it!

Going berry picking at Highland Orchards

This is Liam's version: pick a berry...

Eat a berry...

Eat another berry.

Okay, fine mama, I'll put one in the box

Berry picking is fun!

Look at all the yummy berries!

They even have some animals to look at

An ice cream treat after his 2nd haircut, he didn't like it as well as the first time

But I think he'll recover

Waiting for the fireworks (a week late Liam was sick on the 4th of July but thankfully a nearby town was doing fireworks the following week), Liam loved the "big lights"!

He even tried to call and tell someone about it

His first movie! We went to see Toy Story 3! What's a movie without yummy snacks?

More water fun!

Wading at Marsh Creek Lake

He loved this truck that he stole, umm I mean borrowed, from a little friend

Maybe I should get him one...

A birthday party for his little friend Keira at "Donalds"

He decided to start a new crown trend, upside down is apparently more cool

A Day at Dutch Wonderland with Mama and Daddy

His first amusement park ride, this is the one he picked, even if he seems a little small for it, he still had fun

Then a pony ride, he is now a fan of moo moos (for some reason he thinks cows and horses are the same) wherever we go

This ride is a little more his speed

But this one was a little slow for this fast guy

But when they let him drive, then it's super fun

And a waterslide? Now that's fun!

Exploring the Please Touch Museum

Even they have some water fun

And it just wouldn't be fun without a slide

Hopping on the lily pads

Making music

Riding a musical "moo moo"

Delivering some mail

Doing a little shoppin'

Some construction work

And of course driving a car

Does anyone else think we're in big trouble when he turns 16?

A little sand and water play in the backyard

He loves to twirl his "lelala"

Playing with the fan

Enjoying his new trampoline

Do you think he likes it?

Apparently it's even fun for climbing...

Drinking from the sprinkler

Playing in his pool

What a cool dude, who couldn't love this face? (He put on like this himself, how cute is that?)
